We offer experimental and computational services to help researchers and companies answer biological questions. You bring the question and subject expertise. We bring biology, lab automation, data science, and AI-assisted design to develop and run the right workflow with you.
We help you test more ideas and learn faster through the Design–Build–Test–Learn cycle: we design molecules and strains, build and test them in the lab, and use data from each round to decide what to try next. Our long-term goal is to make this cycle autonomous, with software and instruments planning and running each new round based on the last.
The Estonian Biofoundry is a joint facility of the University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and a member of the Global Biofoundries Alliance. We work closely with the BRIGHT Biofoundry at the Technical University of Denmark.
