Science & Technology and Bioengineering Programme Director Ilona Faustova took part in education fairs in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan, organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Hosei University, and Doshisha University. Many talented students visited the fairs and were interested in receiving higher education in Estonia, specifically the University of Tartu. Ilona answered many of their questions and explained the study opportunities in our Institute of Bioengineering, the career options after graduation, and life in Estonia in general. We hope to see these talented candidates as part of our university family.
In addition to her participation in the education fairs, Ilona was invited to the special reception dedicated to reconnecting Estonian universities’ alumni of Japanese origin and the representatives of Estonian higher education institutions. The event was organised by the Estonian Embassy in Tokyo.
