The international summer school ‘Synthetic Biology and its Applications’ led by Assoc. Prof. Ilona Faustova is taking place at the Institute of Bioengineering from 29 July until 6 August 2024. Students from nine countries are participating in the course.
During the two-week study period, students will learn about the main branches of synthetic biology and get hands-on experience in various cloning methods, sequencing, metabolic engineering, and analytical techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and thin-layer chromatography (TLC).
Participation in summer school gives students real-life experience and the necessary lab skills for a future career in the field.
